TERMS AND CONDITIONS / HOUSE RULES
Welcome to Boutique Ocean Views guesthouse. We are delighted to host you and strive to provide a comfortable and luxurious experience. Please take a moment to read and acknowledge our house rules and terms and conditions to ensure an enjoyable stay for all guests.
1.           CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
–  Check-in time: 14h00 (02h00 PM).
–  Check-out time: 11h00 (11h00 AM).
–  Late check-in and check-out requests must be made in advance, are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
–  All guests are required to provide valid identification upon check-in.
2.           PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICY
–  A 50% deposit (of the accommodation fee) is required when the booking is confirmed.
–  Full payment is required at check-in unless otherwise arranged.
–  A security deposit may be required, which will be refunded upon check-out, subject to any deductions for damages or outstanding charges.
–  Cancellations made within 21 days before arrival forfeit 100% (50%) of the deposit.
–  Cancellations made within 60 days before arrival forfeit 10% (50%) of the deposit.
3.           OCCUPANCY & VISITORS
–  The maximum number of two guests per room is strictly enforced.
–  Visitors are allowed with pre-approval by management.
–  Unregistered guests are not permitted to stay overnight.
–  Visitors must be registered at the front desk and are only allowed until 22h00.
–  Complementary drinks and snacks are for guests only.
4.           NOISE & DISTURBANCES
–  Quiet hours are from 22h00 to 07h00. Please be considerate of other guests.
–  Parties, excessive noise, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in immediate eviction without refund.
5.           SMOKING POLICY
–  Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all rooms and indoor areas.
6.           PET POLICY
–  Pets are not allowed on the premises.
7.           DAMAGES & LIABILITY
–  Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property, furnishings, fittings or amenities.
–  We use high-quality Egyptian linen. Guests will be charged the replacement value for permanently soiled linen.
–  Any missing or damaged items will be charged to the guest’s account.
–  The guesthouse is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings. Please use in-room safes where available.
8.           HOUSEKEEPING & AMENITIES
–  Daily housekeeping is provided unless otherwise requested.
–  For extended stays, towels and linen are changed every three days unless additional changes are requested or required due to excessive soiling, at an extra charge of ZAR 500 per soiled item.
–  A complimentary breakfast buffet is available between 08h30 and 10h00.
–  A large selection of complimentary teas, coffees, other non-alcoholic drinks, and snacks is available for guests only from 07h00 to 22h00. These complimentary amenities are exclusively for on-premise consumption. Kindly refrain from packing these on-site complimentary amenities for consumption outside the establishment.
–  South Africa faces challenges with both water and electricity. Please ensure you turn off the air conditioner and all lights in your room when absent. During periods of load-shedding, the air conditioners will not operate. Use water judiciously. We must all do our part in combating global warming.
9.           PARKING
–  On-site parking is available for registered guests only.
–  The guesthouse is not responsible for any damage or theft involving parked vehicles.
10. EMERGENCY CONTACT & SAFETY
–  In an emergency, please dial +27 (82) 460-2852 or +27 (83) 209-1906.
–  Each room has fire exits and emergency procedures displayed. Guests must familiarise themselves with safety protocols. The staff will explain emergency/fire evacuation procedures during check-in.
